CITIZENS IN EUROPE
ITALY AND POLAND
This project was conducted in the school year 2012/2013 on the eTwinning site.
Two schools were very active: school from Italy and our school from Poland. The cooperation between our schools was great. Children exchanged experiences and information, through photos, drawings, videos and other tools, about their schools, their life at school, themselves and the various common situations they lived at school. They showed each other and compared their way to be citizens in Europe and picked up differences and similarities. Thanks to this project students felt themselves as
European citizens and they could share each other feelings, sensations, experiences
and information and compared them picking up differences and similarities
through the usage of the English Language and of the new technologies. Students improved their English skills and made friends with each other.
This project was awarded! We got Quality Label and European Quality Label in Poland and in Italy.
The project took part in the European Competition in Germany and it was awarded the first prize!

Your eTwinning-Project "Citizens in Europe" has been awarded the
first prize in the European Competition.
It is a very comprehensive project with a beautiful
Twinspace with lots of informationregarding the topic. The
project meets all the criteria of an excellent eTwinning
project. Differences and similarities were worked in a very creative
and motivating way. Both teachers and students played key roles in
ensuring the great success of the project.
When we read this mail, we were really happy! It was a great success!

Our cooperation with Italian teachers and students was fantastic and we decided to create a new project named MY DREAM SCHOOL IN EUROPE in a new school year 2013/2014.
